Diwali is a festival  of light celebrated  every  year with lots of happiness and enjoyment. The festival usually last for five days. 

Diwali is celebrated in Goa mostly in October and November. Here's a simplified overview:

Day 1 -Dhanteras

Clean and decorate home 

Buy utensils, silver, or gold

Worship Lord Dhanwantari (health and wealth)

Day 2- Chhoti Diwali (Narak Chaturdashi)

Cleanse and purify self and home

Worship Lord Krishna and Kali

Light diyas (earthen lamps)

Day 3 -Lakshmi Puja (Main Diwali Day)

Worship Goddess Lakshmi (prosperity)

Light diyas and candles

Fireworks and family gatherings

Day 4 - Govardhan Puja

Celebrate Lord Krishna's victory

Worship Lord Krishna and Govardhan Hill

Offer food and prayers

Day 5 -Bhai Doo

Celebrate sibling love

Brothers visit sisters for blessings

Sisters apply tilak and pray for brothers'

 well-being.
